Future real estate agents

We have been analysing some house advertisements. The children have been working super hard in groups and sometimes by themselves to read advertisements from the Property Press and to write our own advertisements. Here are some pictures. 

The boys are using google maps to find out if the house is near any key areas like schools or shops. We'll done boys.

Meaningful learning

It is always great when the children can find meaningful uses for the learning in class. Yesterday we had two examples. Ella, Tessa and Amrit wrote an informative persuasive letter to Mrs Wilson about their care bear scheme, more info to come soon and Mira used her measurement and area skills to figure out how much grass seed she needs to improve the chicken coop. Well done guys!
